Our Hot Dog's
Story

This book was published in July 2012 and is written in Chinese only, with the exception of the preface, which is written by Mike Davis, author of the hugely popular 'History of Hong Kong Buses' series of books. It contains a good selection of both black and white and colour photographs and a selection of pages are shown below.

The book follows the development of Hong Kong buses from 1945 and covers the following stories:-
Half-cab buses
Rear-engined buses
Front-engined buses in 1970's
Coach development
Bus route network development
Mercedes-Benz O305
Non-franchised hot dog buses
Citybus hot dog buses
KCR's hot dog buses
Hog dog buses for Western Harbour Tunnel
First Bus hot dog buses
Last night of hog dog buses in Hong Kong
My story of hot dog buses
As with Dominic's previous book, Volvo buses in Hong Kong, T.V. Runnacles has provided much valuable and historic photographs. Mike Davis, Nigel-Eadon Clarke and Alex Ko have also provided many classic  photos. The book is aimed at taking the reader back into the hey-day of Hong Kong buses.
