Hong Kong Transport Yearbook
2009

This book was published on 9th June 2010. It is B5 size (190mm x 265mm), hard cover with 190 colour pages. It includes 800 photographs and more than 25 interesting topics. It is published by JR Team and further details can be found at their website - just follow the link. Please note the book is in Chinese text only.

Whilst my main interest lies in buses, I do like to follow what is going on with the other modes of transport in Hong Kong and this book certainly does that. The first 120 pages or so deals with buses, followed by 30 pages on aircraft and the remainder on trams, MTR, LRT and ferries - the balance is, in my opinion, just right.

The layout is very good with some excellent photos and despite the majority of text being in chinese, one can still follow the majority of the articles.

In my view it is well worth the HK$200.
