Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation

The first KCRC model was produced in 1995, being commissioned by the Hong Kong Transport Society and featuring a 1/64th scale Corgi Metrobus (Model No. 91710).

Corgi's July-December 1997 Original Omnibus Catalogue included Model No. 43202, a tri-axle Leyland Olympian with Alexander bodywork, in the then standard livery of white, red and grey. However, the Company adopted a new corporate livery, and the actual model appeared in this new livery. A Hong Kong and United Kingdom version were issued, with the Hong Kong one carrying additional 10th Anniversary signwriting.

A year after the release of the first Olympian, the Hong Kong Transport Society commissioned Corgi to produce Model No. 43218, which carries the original livery.

With the arrival in 2000 of a batch of 11.3 metre Dennis Tridents, KCR themselves commissioned Corgi to produce a model to celebrate the arrival of these new buses, albeit in Corgi's scale 12 metre length.
