of this model appeared on this site on 24th January 2006, with an anticipated
release date of March 2006. The model was actually released in Hong Kong
on 13th March 2006, but as a P & T Model. A subsequent release of sister
vehicle AL1 (B0019) was released in July 2006
The bus-
Ailsa-Volvos AL1 and AL2 were two of the six tri-axle double-deckers ordered
by China Motor Bus for evaluation. Delivered in late 1981 they were unique
in that the rearmost axle was a trailing steering axle. They had a capacity
