The Light Rail, originally known as the KCR (Kowloon Canton Railway) Light Rail is a light rail system serving the New Territories West, within the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long Districts. The system operates over 1,435 mm (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in) standard gauge track, using 750V DC overhead power supply. It has a daily ridership of about 473,000 people.
