Hong Kong Bus Operators ... CMB
 Current operations 2010

China Motor Bus Company Ltd, often abbreviated as CMB, was the first bus company in Hong Kong and was responsible for the introduction of double-decker buses to Hong Kong Island. It is now mainly involved in property development after losing its franchise in 1998. The company does operate a free shuttle bus service between Island Place (one of CMB's real estate developments) near the North Point MTR station and North Point Government Offices. A Volvo B6LE, acquired from Citybus, along with five Dennis Darts are currently used for this service.

In late June 2015 China Motor Bus announced the cessation of the North Point circular service as from 1st July. The notice read 'ISLAND PLACE FREE SHUTTLE BUS ROUND TRIP SERVICE - FROM NORTH POINT GOVERNMENT OFFICES TO ISLAND PLACE - Please be informed that the above service will be ceased from 1 July 2015 onwards'.
