SMRT Buses MAN NL320F (A22) demonstrator was registered SMB 138Y on 17th December 2010. It was later introduced on 23 Dec 2010, operating Service 961 which plies between Woodlands and Geylang Lorong 1.

The bus also bears some special features. Aside from being an entirely low floor bus, it is the first public citybus in Singapore to use outward sliding exit doors (similar to KMB examples). The company is also offering free WIFI access on board the bus.
