94403 - ATENU150 94404 - ATENU143 94405 - ATENU137

Whilst the release of the above three Kowloon Motor Bus models was expected today, there appears to be some problem, either with supply or the fact demand has outstripped supply, as the 80M Bus Model Shop website is listing 94403 and 94404 as being only available to overseas customers and 94405 listed as 'temporary stop'. In the meantime, new pages have been created for each.

If anyone can provide any further information on these models, this would be most welcome.

Further update - it appears both 94403 and 94404 were in fact released today, but it is believed that owing to a production problem with 94405, its release has been delayed.

My thanks to Overground Publishing for allowing me to use their photograph of this Scania K280UD with Euro VI engine. This is believed to be either former Scania prototype ASU1 or ASU2, which first entered service back in 2006 & 2007, but were withdrawn in 2012 and returned to Scania. The updated bodywork is more pleasing to the eye than the original Salvador Caetano, although I'm not sure about the extensive use of black!

The pixelated image on the Buses Model Co. Facebook page is becoming a little clearer each day, and reducing the size of the image makes it appear a little clearer!

To improve the standard of service of public transport in the northern New Territories and to relieve pressure on the MTR, Kowloon Motor Bus has introduced two new morning peak express services, T270 and T277, operating from Sheung Shui to Kowloon Railway Station and Lam Tin respectively. To promote these services, KMB has applied banner adverts to at least two Alexander Dennis Enviro500NGs, one of which is ATENU311, seen today operating route 270A.
