I am grateful to Kevin Kei for providing details of a special 25th Anniversary edition of light rail vehicle 1127 (MTR18701), which was made available to MTR staff in early October 2014. The difference between the generally available model (MTR18702) and this model is the the wording on box and the inclusion of a signal pole. It is believed around 1,200 pieces were made available, but models have no certificate number.

KMB has finally registered its Yutong single-decker today, allocating it fleet no. AYT1 (TB3420).

Nineteen people were injured after an MTR light rail vehicle (No. 1073) and a MTR double-decker bus (No 607?) collided in Tuen Mun yesterday afternoon.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon when the light rail unit, on route 507, was leaving Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Terminus bound for Tin King. As it reached the junction of Wu Chui Road, it collided with a route K52 bus heading to MTR's Tuen Mun Station.
