The model following the first release by D-Toys of this casting in February 2016, two further versions were released in early July 2016, and two more in late July - this being one of the latter.

The busKowloon Motor Bus took delivery of 50 Leyland 'Albion' Viking EVK41XL between October 1970 and August 1971. They were the first KMB single deck buses to be fitted with folding doors. In 1973/4 they were allocated fleet numbers L220-L269.
