The model - the third Enviro500 model to carry Long Win colours was announced just two days before its release on 9th December 2013. It is the first to carry the plain livery - the two previous releases carried 2009 and 2010 decals respectively.

The bus - 8534 is one of 36 Euro V engined Alexander Dennis Enviro500s delivered between May 2011 and April 2013 - it being registered on 11th January 2013.
