| The model -
This
is the first release from ABC Models, a new model manufacturer based in
Hong Kong. First impressions, from the photographs supplied, indicate that
this model is as good, if not better, that the recent Collector's Model
Jubilant.
The first batch (1,000) of these models have
black wheels, whilst the second batch (3,000) have cream wheels, as depicted
above.
The bus
- China Motor Bus took delivery of 305 Long Fleetlines between 1975 and
1979. The first batch of 30 vehicles had MetSec bodywork, the second batch
of 75 had an improved MetSec bodywork, LF106 carried a unique MetSec bodywork
and the final batch (LF107-305) had Alexander bodywork. Several of the
first batch of 30 received new Alexander bodies between 1986 and 1988,
LF18 being one such recipient. |
