The model - This model is the sister vehicle to 000102A, LF 108. Both took part as red and cream buses in the experimental repainting of 1976 to help the owners to choose the new colours for the CMB fleet.

A short run of 1,000 were produced of this model, also on route 102 but bound for the "other end " at Lai Chi Kok. Slight livery changes have been applied to LF 107 - no OMO "money box" symbols and of course a different fleet number, registration numbers and destination screen.

The bus - China Motor Bus took delivery of 305 Long Fleetlines between 1975 and 1979. The first batch of 30 vehicles had MetSec bodywork, the second batch of 75 had an improved MetSec bodywork, LF106 carried a unique MetSec bodywork and the final batch (LF107-305) had Alexander bodywork. Several of the first batch of 30 received new Alexander bodies between 1986 and 1988, LF18 being one such recipient.
