| The model -
with P&T Model (Diecast) releasing a new casting of the DMS
Fleetline in November 2016, it was only a matter of time before a
Citybus example, or two, emerged. These were announced in January 2018,
featuring D20, which was the subject of an EFE release back in 2000,
and D25 (see DC1015).
Additional decals are provided with each model for the purchaser to
apply.
The bus
- D20 was one of the second batch of five former London Transport to
enter
service with Citybus. Unlike the first batch of five DMS's, it retained
it's centre exit doors. It was new to London Transport in 1973 and
joined
the Citybus fleet in July 1981, being L20 (denoting a Leyland engine).
It became D20 in September 1981, after receiving a standard Gardner
engine.
It was withdrawn in 1991.
