EFE unveiled
this model at Showbus 2000, as a new casting, which was later offered to
EFE subscribers! This model was in fact the first release from Model Bus Evolution (see MB102) and the casting is from Drumwell.
It features a Citybus 12-metre Dennis Dragon with Route 118 branding. Route
118 was the first cross harbour route operated by Citybus.
The bus
- 808 is one of eighty 12-metre Dennis Dragons delivered to Citybus between
1995 and 1997. They carry Metal Section (Metsec) bodies, which were assembled
in Portugal, and also feature Alexander style front ends. Fleet nos. 801-829
have a 3+2 seating layout, whilst 830-880 have 2+2. 808 entered service
in January 1995. |
