The model - an unconfirmed report of the release of this model (and 38705) was received on 18th March 2011 and confirmation received the following day, with a release date of 21st March 2011.  

The bus - JF1475 was one of sixty-two 10.6 metre Dennis Tridents delivered new to New World First Bus between June and October 1999 where it carried fleet no. 1652. Between November 2004 and August 2005, many of the batch were sold to KCRC, including JF1475, where it was allocated fleet no. 730.
