| The model
- this model was released in December 1998, being the first casting of
the Duple/Metsec bodied Dennis Trident. This model was on general release
in Hong Kong and carries no limited edition certificate, although a small
quantity subsequently became available at some Corgi Gold Star stockists.
The quantities detailed below have been kindly provided by Citybus.
The bus
- when the new Hong Kong International Airport opened on 6th July 1998,
Citybus introduced a network of routes using the CityFlyer brand name,
to connect the new airport with Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Fleet No
2112 is one of over 150 Duple Metsec bodied Tridents purchased to cater
for these extra services. It entered service on 1 May 1998. |
