The model - this is one of two Long Win Alexander ALX500 bodied Dennis Tridents announced on the KMB Shop website on 22nd July 2020, the other features fleet no. 523 with all-over advertising for KMB. Both were issued to those who pre-ordered through the website on 25th July and their general release was on 1st August 2020,

The bus - 501 is the first of twenty-five 12-metre Alexander ALX500 bodied Volvo Olympians that entered service in June 1998, operating routes from the new Chek Lap Kok Airport to Tung Chung and the New Territories.  All were retired from service in June 2016.
