| The model -
This casting was originally released as an Ox Transport Model (x1001)
back in May 2002, in the later yellow livery of China Motor Bus. This model
was announced at the beginning of September 2006, and released in Hong
Kong later that month.
The bus - AD4563 was new in 1963, being delivered as a short wheelbase single-decker. It was unique in the fact that it was the only one of it's type not to be rebuilt as a double-decker. In 1975 it was converted to a service vehicle. |
