The model - this model appears in Corgi's 'The Original Omnibus Company' October-December 1998 catalogue. The vehicle it is meant to represent is actually a 12 metre single-door Olympian!

The bus - Capital Citybus operated over 300 buses in London, on mainly London Transport contract services. For a brief period, when new in 1992, this vehicle operated on loan to Capital Citybus, then a subsidiary of Hong Kong Citybus, and was tried on London Transport route 248 between Romford and Cranham. The vehicle was earlier loaned to Selkent for a period, before being shipped to Hong Kong where it entered service with Citybus on 31st December 1992.
