The model - first announced in Corgi's 'Into the Millennium' Catalogue with a release date of November 1999, this Leyland Victory Mk2 subsequently appeared in the October - December 2000 catalogue. It was actually released in Hong Kong in June 2000. 

The bus - LV36 was one of 147 such vehicles purchased by China Motor Bus between October 1979 and October 1981. It was withdrawn in 1998, at which time it was part of the New World First Bus, and was kindly donated by that company to the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum in Dunfermline.
