| The model
- The third release of Drumwell's MCW Metrobus will again feature S3M145,
but this time it is portrayed in it's later life, having had the air-conditioning
equipment removed. It will carry standard non air-con livery with large
KMB logos. The model was released in Hong Kong on 1st September.
The bus
- Following the evaluation of the three 12 metre Metrobuses in 1981, KMB
decided to opt for the shorter 11 metre version and orders were placed
for 254 such buses. The first arrived in May 1986 and the last in
February 1990. |
