The model
- this is one of two driver training liveried KMB
Metrobuses released on 27th August 2022. Being unlicensed products they carry no logos/fleetnames. The pictured model below has had the KMB logos applied.
The bus
- M1
was the third of three prototype 12 metre MCW "Super" Metrobuses
ordered by KMB for evaluation, arriving in Hong Kong in May 1981. It
was later renumbered 3M1, the "3" being added to denote 3-axle vehicles.The company placed no orders for this 12 metre
example, instead preferring the 11 metre version, of which 254 were
delivered between 1986-1990. It subsequently was transferred to the driver training fleet.
