M1 was the first of three prototype 12 metre
MCW "Super" Metrobuses ordered by KMB for evaluation, arriving in Hong
Kong in May 1981. It was later renumbered 3M1, the "3" being added to denote
3-axle vehicles.
Whilst being announced in July 2002, this
model has yet to appear, and it is believed that this is as a result of
the use of what appears to be an ABC casting.
