The model - this model was released in Hong Kong in July 2001 and a quantity became available in the UK in February 2003. The casting has been modified by Corgi to accurately represent the narrow front entrance featured on the prototype - a very nice casting indeed.

The bus - Kowloon Motor Bus ordered a total of eighty-eight 9.7 metre MCW Metrobuses between 1983 and 1988. M80 was delivered in November 1985. The final eight, M81-M88, were delivered in November 1989, and were fitted with the more powerful Cummins L10 engine, producing 280bhp, enabling them to be used on Route 51, KMB's most difficult route.
