The model - a new casting from Cars Workshop and first announced in August 2004, this model comes in a diorama set featuring a Jordan Road Ferry Pier building (see photograph below). The model was released on Sunday 10th October 2004.

The bus - KMB ordered 100 Seddon Mk17s which were delivered in 1957/58. With a front engine, the bus had two entrances/exits, one behind the front axle the second behind the rear wheels. Sliding gates were fitted to both. The vehicles were withdrawn between 1969-71.
