The model - news of this model was first announced on this site on 10th October 2006 and it was released in Hong Kong on 15th November 2006.

The bus - KMB took delivery of a batch of 50 Tilling-Stevens during 1947/8. They differed from the batch of 108 ordered by China Motor Bus in several ways, the most noticeable being the sliding gate entrance and exit. Others included the window arrangement, KMB's had sliding windows whilst CMB opted for up/down windows. Many of KMB's examples featured a 'bull-bar' at the front, as featured on this model. The last examples were withdrawn from service in 1966/7.

The above information has been extracted from Mike Davis's
excellent book Hong Kong Buses - Kowloon Motor Bus.
