on 13th June 2002, with a quantity of 1,800.
The bus -
in view of the rapidly increasing population in the Tseung Kwan O district,
NWFB has introduced a package of Kowloon Routes in 2001 to provide more
comprehensive bus services to the residents. Route 796A, which operates
to and from Tseung Kwan O Choi Ming Court and Ngau Tau Kok, was the first
to come into service. To commemorate the launch of this route, NWFB has
decorated the livery of ten Alexander ALX 500 bodied Volvo Super Olympians
with a spring-calf, a cute cartoon which symbolises the extension of NWFB’s
services. 5029 entered service in August 1999 |
