The model - this model appeared in Corgi's 'The Original Omnibus Company' July - December 1997 catalogue. Again the model depicts a 12 metre vehicle despite having a scale length of 11 metres! KMB applied this unique handover livery to 25 of it's buses. The livery carried on the model differed slightly from that carried on the actual vehicles, as Hong Kong's bureaucracy insisted that the lower-deck windows were not painted, in the interests of safety.  The actual bus also carried a pink 'skirt'.

The bus - 3AV22, a 12-metre Volvo Olympian, entered service with KMB on 15th July 1994. The 3AV class totalled 338 vehicles, the last being delivered in September 1997.
