New Alexander Dennis Enviro500s - 2009 |
| This page features the second batch of Alexander
Dennis Enviro500s, ordered in 2008, the first of which appeared in Hong
Kong in March 2009. The chassis, which are again to a 12 metre length,
arrived in Hong Kong during September 2008 and all were loaded onto trailers
and sent to Wuzhoulong Motors in Shenzhen for assembly The bodies had been
shipped from the UK ckd (completely knocked down).
These buses differ from the first batch of Enviro500s, in that they do not feature a straight staircase, instead having a 'bent' layout, similar to the Dublin Bus Enviro500s. There are other minor differences, such as the rear high level indicators. |
