It was reported in May 2014 that Alexander Dennis Ltd are to build six hybrid Enviro500s for Hong Kong -
three for Kowloon Motor Bus and three for the 'Citybus Group'.

This very first glimpse was taken on 6th May on the M74 in Scotland - thanks to Steve, owner of Flickr site C812JGB

Five days later, on 11th May, James Dawkins spotted what is believed to be the same vehicle at BAE Systems in Rochester, Kent.

On 21st May, the vehicle was spotted undergoing tests in Chatham

Citybus registered its two hybrids in November 2014, 8401 the first to be registered on 12th and 8400 on 28th.
