The launch of the Cityflyer A10 - March 2006 |
| Citybus announced on 18th March
2006 that it was to operate a new Cityflyer Route A10, which would run
between Ap Lei Chau and Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The service
was officially launched on Sunday, 26th March 2006. and I am grateful to
both the Universal Transport Fans Association
and Dennis Law for supplying the following photographs so quickly.
Route A10 runs via Ap Lei Chau via South Horizons, Lei Tung Estate, Aberdeen, Wah Fu, Pok Fu Lam, Chi Fu, Mount Davis Road and Kennedy Town, and operates daily from Ap Lei Chau Estate Bus Terminus between 5:30am and 11:00pm, and from HKIA (Ground Transportation Centre) between 6:50am and 0:20am, at 30 minute intervals. Citybus converted several MAN NL262 for CityFlyer operations, losing their centre exit doors and with luggage racks added. Pictured below is sister vehicle no 1562 having received the same modifications, but still to receive it's new livery. |
