Citybus launched its new
logo in a press conference on 31st May 2023 when it also announced the
company would adopt a new livery. Five buses would each carry a new
livery and the public would be given the chance to vote for their
favourite. The two liveries with the highest number of votes would then
go through to the final round, with employees choosing their favourite.
The five buses arrived at the Central SummerFest 2023 event on the
evening of 7th June, along with some historic buses. The arena was open
for the press only on Thursday 8th June, with the event opening to the
public from Friday 9th June until 23rd July.
Other buses taking part in the event include New World First Bus
Alexander ALX500 bodied Volvo B10TL 'Super Olympian 5102, lowheight
Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Trident 3354 and former Citybus
Leyland Atlantean A633. These buses arrived during the daylight hours
of 7th June. |
