80th anniversary liveried buses.... April-June 2013 |
The company celebrated its 80th
anniversary on 13th April 2013 and to mark the occasion it held a
special event on the top floor of its Shatin Depot. A page detailing this event can be found here. Three Wrights Eclipse Gemini 2 buses appeared at the event carrying differing 80th anniversary liveries and thanks to Grant Ng Kwok Kuen these are shown below. Models of each are, I am informed, highly likely. This was confirmed when on 11th September 2013 when a model of AVBWU54 was announced (DW10514). |

On 19th May 2013 AVBWU253 was noted with modifications to the livery carried on 13th April - a shame really as I really liked the original! | |

22nd May 2013, AVBWU200 appeared in
this attractive livery, which was originally
applied
to Alexander bodied Volvo B10MD VMD1 when it was delivered in
1984.

On 23rd May 2013, Enviro400 ATSE31 was noted carrying the above livery. A model was released on 20th October 2013 (92804) | |

On 29th May two new liveries were
unveiled, one featuring that applied to the early
Mercedes-Benz 0305s and applied to Salvador Caetano bodied Scania K310UD ASU19. The other, applied to Enviro400 ATSE48 is a cream and brown livery as carried by air-conditioned Dennis Jubilant CF4180 and Leyland Victory Mk2 CM3879. . |
