Hong Kong Bus Operators ... KMB New Scania K230UB single-deckers - 2009

As reported at the beginning of March 2009, Kowloon Motor Bus had placed orders for ten 12 metre and twenty 10.6 metre Scania K230UB with Salvador Caetano bodywork.  The 12 metre examples were allocated class type ASC whilst the 10.6 metre  examples were allocated class type ASB

ASC12 is seen here on 26th December 2009, having just entered service. Note the rear route number box has now been moved to high level.

The 12 metre examples began operating on route 74A on 18th July 2009.  ASC3 is seen here on its first day in service.

The last of the 10.6 metre batch, ASB20 (NV8110), was captured in Wing Shing Lane, Yau Ma Tei on 7th July 2009 whilst on driver familiarisation duties.

The first of the batch entered service in late May 2009 and were allocated class type ASB.  ASB6 (NU9285) was photographed in Jordan Road on 27th May on route 2C to Tsim Sha Tsui.
