2010 saw the first of a batch of new Youngman
single-deckers enter
service on route 38 between Tung Chung MTR Station and Tung Chung (Yat
Tung Estate). Both the body and chassis are built by Youngman in China
(Chinese name is 'Ching Lin Coach') - only the engine is a MAN. This first batch consisted of nine vehicles and in August 2011 a further five vehicles were delivered (YM10-YM14). December 2012 saw the first three of a further batch of six similar buses enter service (YM15-YM20) with the final two being registered on 7th February 2013 . |
