| News of this new casting was published on this site on 29th October 2009 and the first version, which features 'Twinkling Star', was released on 19th December. A product of 80M Bus Model Shop, the model is to 1:230 scale and measures almost 15cm in length. |
| A second version was released in January 2010 and features 'Day Star' whilst the third version appeared in April 2010 and features 'Shining Star', which operates the Star Ferry 'Harbour Tour' and is decorated accordingly. In late May 2010 the fourth version, in the colourful 'Asia's World City' livery was released. |
