Ten of these 11 metre non air-conditioned Olympians entered service in Hong Kong with China Motor Bus in December 1993. They were transferred to New World First Bus on 1st September 1998. With the new owners promise of providing air-conditioning on all its vehicles by the end of 1999, the entire class was withdrawn in early 2000 and shipped back to the UK later that same year. Prior to leaving Hong Kong, the buses were fitted with interior heaters and replacement windows and the centre doorway was removed. They were refurbished inside and repainted into First PMT's red and yellow livery.  Subsequently they were tranferred to the First Manchester fleet, where they received the standard First livery. They were then transferred to Glasgow and subsequently to Great Yarmouth.
