Creative Master Northcord Limited has proudly released its second livery on the replica Sunwin Volvo B7R model, cnbus 1002, in the colours of the Shanghai Shen Xin Bus Service Company Limited. Shanghai Shen Xin Bus Service Limited commenced operation in March 1998. It is a Sino-Singapore joint venture company, jointly owned by Shanghai No.2 Public Transport Company and SBS International Holdings Private Limited, a member of the Singapore DelGro Corporation Limited.

The Shanghai Shen Xin Bus Service Limited bus SWK001 is shown operating on Showcase Route 49 in downtown Shanghai. It is one of 25 Sunwin Volvo SWB6120KHV-3s of which the Company took delivery at the end of 2001.

The replica features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door and engine detail. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The model has no ugly metal poles to hold it together.

The cnbus 1002 model is limited to 2000 pieces for worldwide distribution. They will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively.

Following a busy October, November has started relatively quietly, however, I can confirm that two new resin models have been unveiled.

The first comes from Expresso Wings, and features KMB Mitsubushi Fuso Recovery Truck, Registration No. GK 5719. It is limited to 200 pieces and is on sale now.

The second features a KMB Toyota Coaster, believed to be Fleet No. AT67 on route 284 to Shatin Central. No further details are known at present.

I am reliably informed that Citybus's Alexander bodied Dennis Trident, in Cityflyer livery (OM45801), is now on general release in the UK.

The site celebrated its 4th birthday on Tuesday 5th November and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who regularly contribute and provide photographs (there are too many to name individually) which has enabled me to develop the site over these four years into what it is today - Thank you.
