Another 80M Bus Model release, announced
and available on 12th September 2003.
This recovery truck was purchased from China
Motor Bus in 2001. It had been kept by CMB after they lost their franchise
in 1998, presumably they wanted it in case one of their remaining Darts
broke down. However by 2001 it was decided to sell it to Citybus along
with 2 Volvo Olympians with a Volvo B6LE going to join their fleet. The
Hino went to the Siu Ho Wan depot where it replaced one of the Victory
tow trucks (one of which was nicely produced in model form by Supreme).
That Victory tow truck is now withdrawn and slowly being canibalised for
spares.
