| The model -
This resin model was released in Hong Kong on 26th July 2006. This is the
second Ailsa-Volvo to be produced, the first being AL2 (B0015)
in March 2006.
The bus - Ailsa-Volvos AL1 and AL2 were two of the six tri-axle double-deckers ordered by China Motor Bus for evaluation. Delivered in late 1981 they were unique in that the rearmost axle was a trailing steering axle. They had a capacity of 170! |
