The busKowloon Motor Bus introduced 210 AEC Regent Mk V buses into its fleet between 1963 and 1966 to cater for increasing demand due to the rapid growth in population at that time. The bus was unprecedented at that time in terms of body length (34 feet) and passenger capacity (117 passengers).
