| The model -
in November 2012 it was reported that two MTR liveried
Enviro500s
were planned. The first (39418) was released
on 6th December 2012 and featured the first of the Enviro500s to be
delivered to MTR. Confirmation was subsequently received that
the
second
release would be issued in mid 2013. On 16th May confirmation
was
received this second model would be released on Saturday 18th
May.
The bus
- Kowloon-Canton
Railway Corporation (now known as MTR Bus) ordered nine
12-metre
long Euro IV-engined Enviro500 buses in early 2007 for its Feeder Bus
service. Allocated fleet nos. 801-809, they entered service between
January and April 2008 carrying the then standard red/blue/white
livery, as shown in the photograph below. In early 2011 it received its
current North West New Territories livery.
