The model - details of this model were announced on
17th May 2018 and it was released in Hong Kong on 23rd May.
The bus
- Kowloon Motor Bus announced in September 2017 that it had
fitted solar panels to ATENU2. The
system serves as an auxiliary electric power supply and drives the air
ventilation system, thereby reducing the “Greenhouse Effect” inside the
bus. During trials, the system reduced the saloon air temperature by
around 5-10°C, enhancing bus services and contributing to environmental
protection. |
