A Collection of Hong Kong Bus Types
Victory Mk 2

 
This book has just been published in Hong Kong. It focuses on Victory Mk 2 of the four Hong Kong bus companies, namely KMB, CMB, New World First Bus and New Lantau Bus.  It is A5 size, has 98 pages and is written in both English and Chinese. It comes in both hard and softback.

The book comprises of four parts.

Part 1 is entitled "Type Information" and consists of 54 pages of the history, facts and photographs of both the Leyland Victory and Dennis Jubilant. It includes details on the various differences between CMB & KMB versions, and between Victorys and Jubilants, Photographs of the interior and the different liveries applied during their working life. The final few pages of this section shows LV36 back "home" in Scotland, whilst other less fortunate KMB examples are photographed in scrapyards.

Part 2, entitled "Advertisement Bus" consists of 16 pages of photographs, no text, showing the variety of eye-catching advertisements applied to these vehicles over the course of their lifespan.

Part 3 "Bus models" is made up of 6 pages, starting with the "matchbox" size toys, moving on to Collector's Model, ABC Models and finally Corgi's recent KMB release.

Part 4 "Fleet List", contains details of the four Bus Companies Victory's/Jubilants, giving fleet no., registration no., date first registered, chassis no. and date withdrawn.

The book is printed on high quality paper, includes a vast number of colour photos, and provides  comprehensive information.
