The model - the second Daimler 'A' release from Cars Workshop features 4963 with a 'Manchester' style grille. It depicts the vehicle in the latter years of its life (1974 - 1980) when driver only operation was denoted with the introduction of the 'cream over red' livery.

The bus - This bus was delivered new to KMB in May 1949, was later numbered D28 and eventually withdrawn from service in March 1980, whereupon it became a training bus.

The above information has been extracted from Mike Davis's
excellent book Hong Kong Buses - Kowloon Motor Bus.
