This is one of two models released in late November 2016 carrying the
same road safety decals, the other featuring AEC Regent V A152 (38906).
The bus
- Kowloon
Motor Bus introduced 20 Daimler 'D'
type buses into its fleet in 1967. They were 34 feet long and carried a
maximum of 130 passengers. They mainly served bus routes in eastern
Kowloon and Tuen Mun districts, such as 7B, 9 61 and 63. To
cope with
one man operation in the mid 70s, the exit door and staircase ere
removed from the rear and rebuilt in the middle of the bus.
