The model - the brand 'Hong Kong - Asia's world city' has been applied to several vehicles in the fleets of the various Hong Kong bus operators, some with a red base colour, some black, and my favourite being a white base, as carried on this model released by Model Bus Evolution. This model is packed in a deluxe 'jewel' box, limited to 2,888 pieces and released in Hong Kong in December 2002.

The bus - 855 is one of eighty 12-metre Dennis Dragons delivered to Citybus between 1995 and 1997. They carry Metal Section (Metsec) bodies, which were assembled in Portugal, and also feature Alexander style front ends. Fleet nos. 801-829 have a 3+2 seating layout, whilst 830-880 have 2+2. 855 entered service in December 1995.

The dragon is Hong Kong's visual identity. It incorporates the Chinese characters for Hong Kong as well as the letters 'HK'. The design symbolises a blend of East and West. It's flowing lines impart a sense of speed and change. These core values underpin Hong Kong's positioning as 'Asia's world city'.
