The model - With the appearance in August 2015 of ATR1 carrying a decal that read "Farewell Hong Kong's first Super-low floor double-decker bus  ATR1  1997-2015", a model was surely to follow. This in fact was released on 21st October 2015. This bus was modelled by Corgi back in 1998 (44301).

The bus - ATR1 was the prototype low floor double deck bus for KMB and it entered service in September 1997. It was the first bus to carry the new champagne livery, which denoted it being a low floor bus. When new, it carried decals on its lower deck sides which included a childs buggy and wheelchair, emphasising its low, non-stepped floor. It also carried a red pinstripe between decks.
