The model - What was expected to be an ABC Models release, this CMB water bowser instead appears from two new manufacturers, Ox Transport Models and Best Choose.

The bus - This vehicle was originally a short wheelbase single decker, being new in March 1964. In 1968 it was damaged by fire and in November 1969 was rebodied as a double decker, becoming fleet number S1. This rebodying proved so successful that it led to further rebodying of single deckers into double deckers.

S1 was withdrawn from service in 1980, after which it was converted into a water bowser.
